Hope everyone’s enjoying their week… I am super excited because I will be spending some time with my mom on Friday. As I mentioned in my last post, it’s my busy season and it’s my mom’s as well, so finding the time to get together is impressive! That means mother/ daughter quality time which involves a good lunch and an afternoon of shopping. 🙂

A trend that has become popular for the last several years is the tunic top. I like tunic sweaters in the winter because they are longer and cozier!! The tunic trend has evolved into more than just sweaters, some are simple tops like the one I show in these photos. In the fall I can wear this piece on its own, but I will be able to layer it under sweaters when it becomes colder. I have a few tunics that are just simple shells, which are a great pieces to layer under a sweater or top to create a longer line to your outfit.

I particularly love tunics because they are long enough to wear with leggings. With the cold winter months in New England, it’s hard not to live in leggings! My favorite leggings are from the Lou & Grey line at LOFT, they are thick and wear so well. I have two pairs and they have lasted through two winters and still look like new!
