Memorial Day weekend is a day away, which means there are a few key items that you will need on this long weekend and throughout the summer.  I have picked a few essential  pieces to kick off the summer. I hope the weather will cooperate so I will have a chance to wear a cute bathing suit on the beach and get some sun; fingers crossed!  I will absolutely have sunscreen in my bag since it will be my first time out in the sun.

I know people start wearing white denim before Memorial Day weekend ( Michael Kors says white denim can/ should be worn all year).  If you don’t have a pair, now is the time to go out and find the best fit. Finding the perfect pair of jeans is hard enough, but finding a white pair is even more difficult . Smooth fit and a fabric that isn’t too see through are important factors to consider when buying white denim.  This year I have found a distressed pair that I love.

A new favorite of mine is the setting spray from Sephora. I always felt as though my make-up would disappear off my face by the end of the day. This spray is key to helping my make-up last and look fresh all day, especially while being active.

I am off on another road trip for the weekend. My college roommate is getting married in June; I am heading to the Jersey shore to spend the weekend with my girlfriends so we can celebrate the bride to be! Cannot wait for the bachelorette shenanigans to begin!
