Warm weather is here to stay! So excited when the thermometer hit 85 degrees yesterday! It felt like I was baking in my apartment; I need another fan.  I know I should not be complaining about the warm weather. All  winter long we wish for warm weather, but once it’s here we complain that it’s too hot!  I DO love warm weather and hot temps mean that my shorts can come out of hiding.

This weekend is designated  for all the things I should have done during the week, after the long weekend. Who else postponed their chores all week? Not exciting, but necessary.

I have a renewed interest in vests this season. A vest is the perfect add-on in the summer because it is lightweight. I loved the colors in this Diane Von Furstenberg piece and thought of all the colors in my closet that would work with it. This time I dressed it down with the jean shorts, but the silk fabric makes it a natural to pair with an LBD.
