Beginning of June and it is cold and rainy… again. One day of rain is nice, but it’s starting to get in the way of my plans. My apartment is cleaner because of it-I guess that’s a good thing!

This dress is a nice way to brighten the day and maybe chase away the showers! I love color, but when I shop I tend to pick traditional colors. This dress was out of my color comfort zone. When I put it on I thought “Go out of your comfort zone with your accessories too”.
When I first paired it with my combat boots my mom questioned if it would work together.  I added the scarf and she said it was a  combination that gave this classic sundress a fun, young feel, a citrus twist! All the different brown textures and tones that I layered mute the citron color just a bit.
