I love the sound of rain. A good rainy day is occasionally just what I need. The chance  to snuggle up on the sofa with a cup of coffee and some magazines, catch up on shows I missed during the week while checking out new fashion trends.

On my way home yesterday I picked up a new nail polish and I am loving the color for the start of June. Having a fresh new nail color for the start of a new month is a great pick me up for a rainy day. I have a confession: I have been a nail bitter for most of my life, but I am working really hard to break the habit. Wearing nail polish all the time has been a help.

I came across these coffee mugs when I was at Tjmaxx one day. They are so perfect; I get excited each time I pull one out of the cabinet. The fact that they are pink makes them even more perfect.
